My inspiration for this novel is the triumph of an old-school man of faith who refused to be broken by a counterfeit covenant, reclaimed his father’s honor, and converted his deepest desert into a sanctuary of care for the world.
I think the biggest inspiration for this novel was to rediscover who I actually am. A great person, and a man of his word and diligence of whatever action is needed. However, when I seemingly lost that, my own self identity in my marriage was a mental nightmare. Being there for my mother and losing her Alzheimer’s wasn’t inspiration for caringwithourhearts.com the foundation. But my marriage was unsupportive of anything that I wanted to pursue. Of course, all the drinking in the psychiatrist appointments he inpatient rehab facilities, and other Band-Aids to the truth. Reality of who you are by DNA, by brain functions, and it took a lot more than a psychiatrist, trying to prescribe another pill then another pill to offset the side effects of the original pills and then by the end of the day I’m up to eight pills a day just to be normal when I already was. Who I am again led to my debut novel “Intimateless Marriage”- “One Man’s Journey Through the Silence of a Christian Wife, and the Faith That Set Him Free. While writing this novel, it gave me inspiration to continue my natural personality of Caring for others which forged my up-and-coming business venture www.CaringWithOurHearts.Org. Which focuses on in-home personal healthcare for the elderly, physically and mentally handicapped and disabled persons. And that has led to the latest go in progress of my app titled “Depression Free Zone” (DFZ) all set to for there official debut fall 2026.
The foundation for all these ventures and the self-fulfillment in my heart, mind and soul can only be explained and acknowledge through my Faith in Jesus Christ as my savior. There’s no other answer that could ever exist. Losing everything that I ever knew about myself to uncover and discover the real self was the most life-changing adventure and spiritual growth that I’ve ever done and although it’s not complete, I’m doing it every day faithfully.

The Intimateless Marriage is my debut book—a raw, deeply vulnerable account of surviving the years of emotional starvation and financial exploitation behind the holy facade of a toxic marriage. When a spouse forgets the words their Pastor recited them on their wedding day. Well, the road to misery in every direction ahead leads to a fiery crash, instead of the loving pursuit of, “Till Death Due Us Part”.
INTRODUCTION
If you are holding this book in your hands, there is a strong chance you are intimately acquainted with a very specific, suffocating kind of silence.
It is the silence that hangs in a home when two people share a roof, a budget, and a last name, but absolutely nothing else. It is the heavy, vibrating quiet of a marriage where physical intimacy, emotional warmth, and simple human validation are systematically locked away behind closed doors.
For seven years, that silence was my daily reality.
To the outside world, my life looked like a picture of steady devotion. I was a son raised on traditional, old-school values of discipline, provision, and quiet endurance. I was a believer who honored a patient, chaste courtship, trusting that building a relationship on a shared Christian foundation would yield a lifetime of mutual love. I was a provider who gave one hundred percent of my labor, my finances, and my protection to build a safe harbor for the woman I loved. But inside the house, the harbor was a mirage. I found myself trapped in an intimateless marriage—functioning as a financial lifeline and a live-in handyman while being completely starved of affection, connection, and grace. I watched my physical health collapse. I watched my late father’s cherished heirlooms and my own hard-earned savings dissolve just to keep an uneven relationship afloat. Like so many men caught in an invisible trap, I turned to alcohol just to quiet the anxiety and cope with the isolation, never wanting to start an argument about the affection that was constantly withheld. I know what it feels like to be completely upside down. I know what it feels like to chase a love that is stuck on a strict, one-way street. This book is the unvarnished truth of that storm—but more importantly, it is the story of the sunshine that broke through it.
This is not a manuscript born out of anger, bitterness, or a desire to tear down. Out of respect for privacy, the names and professional identities within these pages have been entirely scrubbed. Instead, this text is a legal and spiritual testimony of reclamation. It is about the exact moment I laid down the bottle, stood up in the quiet, and discovered the profound difference between the Value of Self and my Self-Worth. I learned that my Value of Self meant recognizing that my time, my labor, and my heart were valuable assets that God never intended to be exploited or abused. And I learned that my Self-Worth didn’t depend on whether my spouse chose to love me; it was already signed, sealed, and delivered by the unyielding grace of Jesus Christ. Every single lyric of pain in my past has been repurposed to fund a greater mission. The trials documented in these chapters are the literal bedrock of Caring With Our Hearts, a non-profit organization built to honor my mother’s memory and extend genuine, unconditional empathy to those navigating their own darkest seasons.
If you are currently surviving the silence, if you are pouring yourself into an empty cup, or if you are trying to rebuild your life from scratch—this book is for you. You are not a victim, you are not trapped, and you are not alone.
Step into the light with me. The truth will set you free.
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” — John 13:34This page isn’t just an organization; it is a living legacy built straight from the heart. Founded in 2018, CaringWithOurHearts.Org was born out of a deeply personal journey of love, faith, and loss. It was established to honor the beautiful life and enduring legacy of my beloved mother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s disease in 2017. Watching a loved one navigate that kind of darkness teaches you the true meaning of a caregiver’s heart. It requires an unyielding reliance on the grace of Jesus Christ, an abundance of empathy, and a commitment to love without expecting anything in return.
Our fundamental foundation is structured entirely upon not-for-profit beliefs. We believe that true healing begins when we apply that same sacrificial care not just to our families, but to ourselves and our communities.
Through our upcoming endeavors—including the release of my deeply personal novel, “The Intimateless Marriage”—we are dedicated to sharing the real-world trials, tribulations, and spiritual lessons learned on the road from brokenness to absolute freedom. Whether you are a caregiver pouring yourself out for a loved one, someone walking through a season of deep emotional trials, or simply a brother or sister looking for daily faith and encouragement, you have a home here. We are here to remind you that your self-worth is secure in God’s hands, that love is a beautiful promise, and that we are called to lift one another up.
